Visible is a prepaid cellular phone carrier that uses and is owned by Verizon. The carrier has only one plan which is $40/month for unlimited voice, SMS/MMS, and data – although with the data, you might be deprioritized when the network is congested. One could create or join a Party Pay Group which will bring the bill to as low as $25/month. You can also tether, but with the TOS, you are only allowed to have one device tethered at a time.
So far, I like the service. I had it for a month at time of writing this page, and it has not failed me. It is more expensive than Life Wireless but with Life Wireless, you only get 2.5GB. It is cheaper than Google Fi, and has better support options than FreeMi. I hadn’t stressed the service out any since I have been home most of the past month, but confident that it would work well.
There are a couple of disadvantages. First, the Party Plan is limited to just 4 people in the group. I would suggest 6 people, even if the discount is still kept at $15 off per line. This will cater to families more, especially when there is more than 4 in the family. I would also ask to have a higher limit with regards to tethering. My suggestion will be 3 devices instead of 1.
All in all, I like the service and it services me well. I don’t have any concerns, and I am sure it would work well when I get more active outside of the home. The service also supports WiFi calling with supported devices.
Visible now offers a referral program. You can use the signup link below to help me out. In addition, there is no limit on the number of people in a party pay, 4 or more in a party will be $25/month. They still do not offer eSIM for existing account.
